AC maintenance

AC maintenance for Miami homes

Most AC breakdowns here start small: a clogged drain line, a tired capacitor, a filter nobody changed. A maintenance visit finds them while they are still small.

  • The system hasn't been looked at in a year or more
  • You're heading into the hot months
  • The drain line has backed up before
  • You just moved into a home and don't know the system's history

What the visit covers

The drain line is cleared and the pan checked for standing water.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask

What does an AC tune-up actually do?

It is a check of the parts that fail most often here: the filter, the drain line, the coils and the electrical parts at the outdoor unit, plus readings that show how the system is running.

How often should I have it done?

Systems in Miami run most of the year, so many homeowners book at least one visit a year, before summer. Ask Joel what he recommends for your system.

Can I clear the drain line myself?

Some homeowners flush the line through its access port. If it keeps backing up, have it cleared properly so water doesn't reach the ceiling or floor.
